The Major Difference
"Everyone always says, "Make sure you find a good breeder," but I didn't know what that really meant until I found Stephanie! I was so impressed that she wanted to see me and Rosie together before making a decision; her first priority is finding the right home for her pups and the right pup for her owner. That made me instantly trust her. On top of that, she took the time and effort to begin training Rosie when she was tiny. By the time I got her, she was ready and eager to learn anything and everything! Rosie's training foundation has helped me mold her into a patient, obedient, friendly,dog... my best little buddy."
"Glen Coco was the perfect addition to our family, and Stephanie's hard work during his first 8 weeks really showed! Kennel training was such an easy process thanks to the training Stephanie put into her pups. We wouldn't trust anyone else to help make our dog dreams come true!"

"I waited two years to get my handsome Luigi. My experience with Stephanie was amazing. Louie has been exceptional his temperament and ability to learn has been hands down the best. If I were in the market to get another pup she would be the only breeder I would consider. I also had the honor of breeding my boy with one of her females producing a beautiful litter. Thank you Stephanie for adding such a loving Boy to our family."
"I am so thankful to Stephanie Major for bringing Mia onto my life! The conscientious and ethical way Stephanie breeds and raises her puppies results in happy, healthy, well-adjusted additions to families. Mia has been a joy from the first moment I met her."
"I found Stephanie a year before my first doxie tragically passed at 4 years old. I knew when we were ready I was going to get one from Majors Dachshunds. Our sweet Dempsey is from Gretchen and Murphy’s litter. What drew me to Major's Dachshunds is the way Stephanie loves and works with the puppies from the beginning!! She introduces them to sounds, being held, along with obstacles to challenge them to figure out a solution. Which equals you having a strong willed and confident pup. Dempsey isn’t scared of anything. Which is awesome since we live in Texas and have crazy big thunderstorms. He went through his first storm at 13 weeks and all he wanted to do was play in the rain. He is a strong willed little pup who will stand tall and confident. But he’s also a TOTAL mommas boy and wants all the snuggles. Stephanie is so helpful at answering questions and keeping you updated on everything the puppies are doing while in her care. I would recommend Stephanie to anyone who is looking for a doxie. I will 100% be getting another doxie from Stephanie... Just as soon as I can convince my husband. :) "
